Terms and Conditions for Geek Gift Online Store

Welcome to Geek Gift Online Store (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or purchasing from our store, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.


1. Ordering Process

1.1 Pre-Payment Requirement
All orders must be pre-paid in full at the time of purchase.

1.2 Order Timing
Orders are placed with our supplier during the final week of each month. We aim to ship items to customers during the first week of the following month.

1.3 Order Changes or Cancellations
You may request a refund or cancel your order up to one week before we place the bulk order with our supplier. After this deadline, refunds or cancellations will no longer be accepted.


2. Shipping and Delivery

2.1 Packaging and Handling
We take the utmost care in packaging your products to ensure their safe arrival. However, we cannot guarantee the condition of the external packaging upon receipt.

2.2 Damaged Packaging Policy

  • If a product’s packaging arrives damaged but the item inside remains intact, we will contact you to determine whether you wish to proceed with the purchase or cancel your order.
  • While we understand the importance of pristine packaging, manufacturers design packaging primarily to protect the product inside. As such, minor damage to packaging does not qualify for refunds or returns.
  • Severe damage affecting the integrity of the product inside will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

2.3 Shipping Delays
We rely on our supplier and shipping carriers to deliver products. While we strive to meet timelines, unforeseen delays may occur. We appreciate your patience in such cases.


3. Refunds and Returns

3.1 Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds are available up to one week before the bulk order is placed with our supplier.
  • Once the order has been placed, refunds are no longer available.

3.2 Returns Policy
We do not accept returns for products with minor packaging damage unless the damage is severe and affects the product’s condition or usability.


4. Product Availability

4.1 Pre-Order Products
All items on our website are ordered directly from our supplier. Availability is subject to supplier stock at the time of our bulk order.

4.2 Out-of-Stock Items
If an item becomes unavailable from the supplier, we will notify you promptly and provide a full refund for that item.


5. Customer Responsibility

5.1 Contact Information
Please ensure that your contact and shipping information is accurate at the time of placing your order.

5.2 Communication
It is your responsibility to respond to communications regarding packaging damage or other order issues promptly.


6. Liability

6.1 Condition of Packaging
We are not liable for minor damages to packaging as long as the product inside is in good condition.

6.2 Shipping Risks
We are not responsible for shipping delays or damages caused by third-party carriers.


7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.


8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our website will constitute acceptance of those changes.
